The ÐÓ°Épro Legacy
Founded in 1969, the ÐÓ°Épro Foundation, Inc. was the first community college foundation in North Carolina. The Foundation ensures that donated funds are invested wisely and disbursed in ways that contribute to the ongoing excellence of ÐÓ°Épro.
Since 1963, when Mrs. Mary Luman Meyer gave the gift of 250 acres of land on Airport Road in Southern Pines, which created ÐÓ°Épro, the college has been blessed and enriched by the private support of its students, programs, facilities, and capital needs. During the past four decades, ÐÓ°Épro has achieved a level of excellence rare among American colleges, which has been made possible through the truly remarkable level of private support the college has received.
The ÐÓ°Épro Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with Federal Tax Id Number 56-0946799.

Ensuring Opportunity
Gift to ÐÓ°Épro and support student Opportunity. Many ÐÓ°Épro students are living a story of resilience. Most work, have families and are under significant financial strain. Despite the challenges, our students work hard to achieve their educational goals. By supporting student Opportunity, you are making education possible. More Ways to Give
There are many ways to make a gift to help ensure Excellence and Opportunity at ÐÓ°Épro. Gifts can be made at any time during the year and may be designated for a specific purpose or may be given unrestricted (which provides the college with the opportunity to use the gift where it is needed most).
The current state of the economy has created many challenges for ÐÓ°Épro. Despite the challenges, the work of the ÐÓ°Épro Foundation goes on. The Foundation’s commitment to academic Excellence for all who seek to improve their lives has not changed.
